My mother said "never go into the forest at night" -but therein lay mystery. Here's a glimps of a shopping list of artworks with a dark and mysterious elegance.
I am a notorious insomniac, so spend a lot of wonderful nights working in the quiet, moody atmosphere it allows. These works remind me of the mysterious nature of a dark night.
Hello there!
I have been an artist for many years, working with many mediums, mostly doing installation pieces, as they were called, because I love to combine many textures and components. Through strange and wonderful circumstances I went from happily curating a gallery in Yorkville, Toronto to starting a new venture creating jewelry and smaller textile works that are very rewarding.
I recently began a new online shop called Joliette to showcase my newest creations of wearable art, hand dyed silk flower statement necklaces, flower and feather brooches and lately marine inspired pieces!
This blog is the story of my process as an artist in transit.
